Re: Default Reset of Bladeserver

Hello,

Begin by shutting down the server.
Remove the top cover of the server.
Locate the CMOS battery within the server.
Take out the CMOS battery.
Reinstall the top cover.
Place the server back into the enclosure and power it on.
Expect an error message indicating CMOS failure, which will reset the BIOS to its default settings.
Verify if you can access the BIOS login.
Power off the server, reinsert the CMOS battery, and boot the server into BIOS to reconfigure settings.
Note: Resetting the BIOS will erase any customized settings and restore them to factory defaults.

During the Power-On Self-Test (POST), press the F8 key as prompted. The iLO 3 RBSU will execute, allowing for reconfiguration.
Cheers....
