   If the setting for topic order is kept in a user's profile, then if
you're logged in, you should get your preference, but if not, then
you'll get the default (which apparently has changed).

   Because of the much-too-quick auto-logout on the shiny new forums,
I'm almost always logged out, so I guess that I'll almost always be
getting the wrong order.  Just when you think that things can't get any
lamer, some super-genius proves you wrong.
