After installing the HP 3PAR CLI, I launched it but could not get to the prompt where i can execute the commands.

Please help me supply the correct inputs:

System ?

User?

password?

Is only at the CLI that i can shutdown gracefully and set licenses?

Is there any alternative?

Yes.  Either the remote CLI client or using ssh:

ssh username@system
