How to set remote copy start-time
Hi,
I have a couple of remote copy groups on an asynchronous schedule. I have the groups syncing every 1 hour. I'd like to split the groups so that some sync on the hour, while other sync on the half-hour. I would still like to maintain a 1 hour interval for all the groups.
From the gui and cli, I see only options to set the replication interval, but none to set the schedule start time (e.g. set some to start at 1300hrs and others to start at 1330hrs). Is this possible on 3PAR? If so, how can it be done?

Re: How to set remote copy start-time
I believe, once started, they should stay on the specified schedule.
So either a "createsched -run_once" command with the desired "startrcopygroup" command, or have your desktop OS start a batch job to issue the "startrcopygroup" command.
Note: While I am an HPE Employee, all of my comments (whether noted or not), are my own and are not any official representation of the company

Re: How to set remote copy start-time
Hi Sheldon,
Thanks for this. I'll give it a try and revert.
