Have you ever wondered how your QA and Testing team compares against the other companies around the world? We now have an opportunity for you to easily benchmark yourself against others.

The myWQR2013, a mobile app for iPad, begins by having you answer a subset of questions that were also answered by CIOs, IT Directors, VPs of Apps and QA/Testing Leaders. These answers were included in the research for the latest World Quality Report where their responses were compared with the global survey results.

You can download the full report here.

By comparing your answers to their answers, you will be able to see the status of your organization’s Quality Assurance and Testing compared to a comprehensive global sample of 1500 senior executives.

The questions focus on key QA & Testing topic areas  such as:

  • Testing Centres of Excellence
  • Test Environment and Data Management
  • Managed Testing
  • Mobile Testing
  • Testing in the Cloud
  • Agile Testing

when will this App be ready on Andoid? My Company dosen't supply us with a Ipad?

I see this app useful only in the case when someone wants to have a very general impression of his team. But this can be a good thing because when you see that the level of your team is very low compared to others, you can do some internal investigations about it.

This application is a great idea.

There is a good amount of knowledge to be gained from reading people's answers, as well.

How will companies be benchmarked, though, since many use different technologies, workflows and structure?
