Mobile Development Training @ HP Discover

‎04-15-2013 03:05 AM - edited ‎09-07-2015 09:44 PM

I know good training is often expensive and difficult to schedule.   It’s often incredibly hard to find either the time or the money to go to training.   You’re going to HP Discover, so why not get some quality training while you’re there!

At this year’s HP Discover in Las Vegas, we’re going to have a great half day mobile development training focused on  HP Anywhere and mobile application development.

If you‘ve been following this blog, you probably have an idea about some of the cool things you can do with HP Anywhere, to help you solve your enterprise mobile app development challenges     With HP Anywhere,  you have the power of a native app, with the simplicity of HTML5 and JavaScript.  Together, you have a mobile app platform that lets you create solutions that run on multiple platforms, that are secure and manageable at the same time.

How do you get started?    We’re here to help.

When: Tuesday, June 11  at HP Discover in Las Vegas, you can attend a half day training session titled “Mobile Application Development – a short tutorial using HP Anywhere (HP)” with two awesome instructors from the HP Anywhere R&D team.

The cost per training course is only $99!!!  This is a $400 savings off the normal fee.  This Vivit Advanced Training course can be added to your new or existing HP Discover conference registration account.

Questions? Unable to attend HP Discover but would like to attend Vivit Advanced Training? Contact Laura Walker, Education Chair, Vivit Board of Directors.

Of course, you can always get a head start and go to the HP Anywhere developer community – the Developer Zone and download our ide and start building your mobile apps now!

Is this built on Enyo? Seems to cover a similar area, in terms of multi-platform use, and quick to build applications based on established web technologies.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for the question.

HP Anywhere can absolutely use Enyo as a  framework for the UX, but HP Anywhere is actually a mobile platform, designed for enterprise mobile development .   The platform is based initially on Apache Cordova (PhoneGap), but goes much further.   The HP Anywhere container enables HP Anywhere apps to be deployed in a secure, managed and collaborative environment.    With HP Anywhere, it is possible to support BYOD and give users access to enterprise systems using their device of choice.   You can check out the development platform at the HP Anywhere developer zone.
