Replacement Fan Required BDF7531-12HB-01A
We have a 4 or 5 year old HP Alpha Server (DS10L). One of the blowers/fans is failing and I am trying to source a replacement for it. The fan is an ELINA model number 'BDF7531-12HB-01A'.
Anyone know where I can obtain such a fan, or a suitable replacement? I can't find an email address or phone number suitable to contact HP themselves about it, so if anyone has a number that would be good.
Thanks in advance.
Steve Fairbairn.

Re: Replacement Fan Required BDF7531-12HB-01A
Instead od replacing the blower, I usually repair them... If it is one with ball bearings, they can be replaced and your fan is like new. If it has sleeve bearings ther is no repair possible.
You have to find out the HP Partnumber (for Alphas its like xx-xxxxx-xx) then search for that number at Google. Second hand brokers often sell these parts.
