sa1100 updates?

Hello, Just got my 1100 today, plugged it in, and everything seems to work. I went to the updates page, and it tells me that there are no current updates, could this be true? The most recent file on the server is from 2001, there hasn't been any other updates since?
#2 Is there anything like pop before smpt for the sa1100? Let's say if someone is traveling, and wants to send email, they would need to be able to send it from any location.
Any help would be appreciated.

I feel the same about the updates.

Why are there not any updates, or better manuals available.

Intel I have been told is the OEM of these units, and there is quite a bit of information available on there site. There model number for the units is 1010.

Maybe that will help, but I know HP made a bunch of modifications and I do not see any HP provided updates.
