BAC wde process problem

Good day

We have a problem.

Since today on our BAC server the mercury_wde.exe process is constantly 90-100%, which slows the machine down and BAC in general.

Under wde.log file one enrty states :

2009-09-28 18:09:46,093 [JMS Session Delivery Thread] (WDEManagerImpl.java:387) WARN - Discarding sample due to validation failure (see wdeIgnoredSamples.log)
2009-09-28 18:10:34,125 [TP-Processor28] (WDEManagerImpl.java:357) WARN - buffer Length != request content length(): -1!=109900

Re: BAC wde process problem

There are two separated problems:
1. The validation of sample failed. A sample is not valid if: 1. one of the mandatory fields is missing - you can find the configuration of the mandatory fields in metadata. 2. time stamp is in the future more than x hours as configured in wde settings ( default is 6). 3. customer_name field is missing in sample. 4. customer name does not exist in Customers table in DB. You can see the not valid sample in wdeIgnoredSamples.log.
2. The readPostBody of the http request failed. Something in the http is wrong, the http request returns length that is different from the actual length of the buffer in the http request. Please recheck your http request.

Note these two problems do not happen to the same sample. There are samples that are not valid and there is problem with part of the http requests.

You can look on the wdeIgnoredSamples.log to understand the relevant problematic applications.

Re: BAC wde process problem

We sorted out the process running at 90-100% by increasing the amount of memory under - wde_vm_params.ini. but still getting disregarding ample errors.
