BPM migration from 9.03 to 9.13

Hi Experts,

I have BPM 9.03 on Windows currently running near about 30 applications. We are planning to migrate these applications to new BPM 9.13.
I have created these application monitoring scripts using VuGEN 11.03.
Can I directly migrate(remove then add) the running applications/scripts from 9.03 to 9.13 or Will there be some kind of testing or enhancements of currently running scripts would be required before migrating these to upgraded version of BPM 9.13.

Does BPM 9.13 supports scripts from BPM 9.03 directly?

Thanks & Best Regards,

Mayank

Re: BPM migration from 9.03 to 9.13

The scripts are stored in BSM and it's in BSM where you configure which scripts to be run on which BPMs. You cannot simply copy scripts from one BPM to another BPM.

That said, once your new BPM 9.13 is up and connected to your BSM, you can configure that new BPM 9.13 to run your scripts. Whether the same scripts will keep running on the old BPM 9.03, or you stop that old BPM at all - it doesn't really matter. Your exsiting scripts should run fine on the new BPM 9.13 without any modifications.

Re: BPM migration from 9.03 to 9.13

Thanks Dmitry.

I have assigned application scripts to BPM9.13 but non of the application has been shown into the BPM tree. I have assigned these application almost one hour back but still none of the application appeared in BPM tree.

BPM connectivity seems to be fine.

Please suggest what should I need to look for, I need to resolve it quickly.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Thanks Dmitry.

Porblem with BPM is solved, application are shown in BPM tree.

It was found that BPM was not able to use the load balancer DNS name for connection. Re-configuration of BPM helped in it.
