Citrix colour depth and BPM 9.02

Getting the following on a windows server 2008 SP2 box with BPM 9.02 installed.

Warning: The desktop's color setting is 32 bits and it is not compatible with the recording (16 bits color setting)

Bitmap syncs are failing.

I have recorded a script from the bpm server with loadrunner all as 16 bit but replay on the bpm seems to be in 32 bit.

I had a server tech change the console colour to be 16bit and verified it by installing VNC and connecting to the console and its 16 bit colour.

Any ideas?

The screenshots when the citrix script fails which are sent to BSM are in 24bit colour too.

Re: Citrix colour depth and BPM 9.02

I have the same problem even with BPM 9.13

Host is Windows Server 2008 R2 - SP1 (on x-64 bit architechure)

Scripts are recorded in 16bit depth color, and I asked system administrators to change desktop color depth to 16bit

(BPM is executing as SYSTEM user)

I noticed that every key in the registry named 'BitsPerPel'has value 0x10 (16 in decimal)

(example: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Hardware Profiles\UnitedVideo\CONTROL\VIDEO\{A4F0B1B1-79FD-4CE3-9522-3C3D5E81C239}\0000]
"Attach.ToDesktop"=dword:00000001
"DefaultSettings.BitsPerPel"=dword:00000010
)

Anyway I always get message

The desktop's color setting is 32 bits and it is not compatible with the recording (16 bits color setting)    [MsgId: MWAR0]

and bmp syncs are failing.

Problem is not occurring on other Windows Server 2003 BPMs.

Any idea?
