HP SiteScope - URL Sequence Monitor

Dear Experts,

We are currently using SiteScope 11.22 installed on RHEL.

I am trying to create a url sequence monitor.

Basically access the url, log in, then log off.

My first step is to access the url.

step 2 is supposed to log in, however, i cannot find the form: "log in"

However, there seems to be a "login" link.

Can someone please help me implement this monitor?

I have this monitor working on other urls, however, it does not seem to work on this url.

Any advice on this is very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: HP SiteScope - URL Sequence Monitor

Hi,

Maybe the page you are trying to monitor uses java script or Ajax, would you please verify (in the page code) if the login link is inside a table or something like that?

Re: HP SiteScope - URL Sequence Monitor

hm...i am not a html expert but it does seem like it is inside a table.

<table width="130" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td colspan="2">
<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" width="100%">
<tr>
<td bgcolor="#036AAC"><img src="/administrator/jsp/com/tibco/administrator/LoginPaneUI/clearspacer.gif" width="500" height="1"></td>
</tr>
<tr height = "40">
<td class="LoginFrame"><img src="/administrator/jsp/com/tibco/administrator/LoginPaneUI/login_header.gif"></td>
</tr>
</table>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="LoginFrame-LabelCell" valign="bottom"> <img src="/administrator/jsp/com/tibco/administrator/LoginPaneUI/power_of_now.gif" width="90" height="40"></td>
<td class="LoginFrame-DataCell" align="center">
<p><img src="/administrator/jsp/com/tibco/administrator/LoginPaneUI/clearspacer.gif" width="400" height="10"></p>
<table width="90%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3">

Re: HP SiteScope - URL Sequence Monitor

Seems that there is the problem,  the URL monitors are not the powerful monitors on SiS, so there are several issues when you try to monitor something inside a table or when the page uses java script (monitor work somethimes and fails in others), do you have license for webscript monitor?

With that monitor you can record a VuGen script and run it from SiS.

Re: HP SiteScope - URL Sequence Monitor

We have SiteScope 64 bit installed so I don't think this version supports web script monitors.
I just checked and it is greyed out saying it is Not available

Re: HP SiteScope - URL Sequence Monitor

Yes that's true, webscript monitor is only available on 32bit installation.
