RUM SSL Keystore

Hi,

I am having issue while setting SSL for RUM .The issue is the certificate has been generated and installed on local Certification store(IE  Tools  Internet options  contents  Certificates) on RUM engine machine . For implementation of RUM SSL I need the path of the keystore the certificate has been installed on , but I am not able to track the same .

Please advice if you have any thoughts on how I could find out the path of the keystore the certificate has been installed on.

Thanks
Maitri

Re: RUM SSL Keystore

Hi Mstri,
What you need for RUm is server certificate (like the one that is installed on the web server you are trying to monitor), so you should ask the web server's owner to give you the certificate and import it using RUMs web interface.

Re: RUM SSL Keystore

Hi ,

That part is done , where in server certificate has been imported into RUM engine's Keystore as trusted certificate .
But I am stuck in part one where I have to point out to keystore where the certificate that has been installed (IE ï   Tools ï   Internet options ï   contents ï   Certificates).

and include the path in
maxThreads="100" minSpareThreads="5" maxSpareThreads="15"
scheme="https" secure="true" clientAuth="false"
keystoreFile=â "
keystorePass=""
sslProtocol = "SSL" />

Hi Maitri,
What exactly do you wnat to do?
To make RUM Engine User Interface acessable only via https(ssl)? to make RUM report data to BAC via https? or somthing else?
