SAP GUI Vugen script Replay error

Hi Experts,

 

i'm using BPM -9.22 build   VUGEN-11.03 version,

 

I have recorded SAP application with SAP GUI protocol and  SAP GUI vesion is  730 Final Release, Build 1456876, patch level 7.

 

While replaying the script some times it is getting failed with the below error

 

Action.c(6): Error:  Failed to get active window

Action.c(6): Error: Failed to get the status bar text

Action.c(6): Error: Failed to find SapGui component by ID "sbar"

Action.c(6): Error: Failed to get active window

Action.c(6): Error: Failed to open new connection to server "9.2XXXXXXXXX"

 

 

We are getting the same error in BPM as well. This issue is intermittent.

 

Did any one faced this issue? can you please help to resolve this issue.

Hi RK,

 

If you are using BPM 9.22 then I would advise you to use a supported version of Vugen such as Vugen 11.50 SP 1.

 

I am not an expert in TruClient scripting but if the problem occurs randomly this could be a delay on response while the script is replaying.

 

Let me know if you have the same problem while using this supported version.

Thanks for your reply. This is not an issue with server response.

 

I will install Vugen 11.50 and will record once again.

I have tried with 11.50 Vugen, and recorded the flow once again. Still i'm getting similar errors at loging sometimes.

Have you applied SP 1 on Vugen 11.50?

Hi,

 

Please enable the "Extended log" in Vugen and check all the 3 options below the "Extended log" setting , then reproduce the problem.

 

Is there now more information in the log?
