SiteScope 11.11 and Active Directory Authentication

Hi,

I'm trying to use LDAP authentication on Sitescope 11.11 but I'm getting a bit confused on some of the settings.

I'm editing the default settings in User Management preferences but some of the requried attributes are a bit confusing and I can't seem to find any documentation on them

The bits that I don't quite understand are :

LDAP context - this I'm assuming is the OU that the users should be in for the LDAP authentication to work ?

LDAP user objectClass : is this the class the user must be ?

LDAP user identical attribute : this I'm totally stumped on.

LDAP group objectClass: is this the class for the group that has the users ?

LDAP Active Key authorization identical attribute : no idea either ?

Thanks in advance

Re: SiteScope 11.11 and Active Directory Authentication

Hi,

I did it a while ago on SiS 11.10:

LDAP context: If your domain name is eg. corp.corporation.com, you type DC=corp,DC=corporation,DC=com

LDAP user objectClass: user

LDAP user identical attribute: sAMAccountName

LDAP group objectClass: Group

LDAP Active Key autorization identical attribute: leave it blank

Best regards,

Jacob

Re: SiteScope 11.11 and Active Directory Authentication
