Data protector Express Basic error message 5090

 

    Hi,

 

 

   We are using "Data Protector Express Basic 6.0" backup application. It worked fine until few days ago when we started to receive error: "Error 5090: Snapshot creation entered invalid state". We have restarted our backup server few times but without any success. Please help us with some tips to overcome this problem.

  I found a solution for my backup problem. For some reason "Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider" service become disabled. After i enable (and start) it, i managed to make backup again.
