"...performed illegal act...spool32.." while printing

While printing from W98 in an app running SQL7 I am receiving the following error:

"...performed illegal act...spool32.."

I need to reboot to continue printing...happening on all workstations...only starting happening after megrating app from Btrieve on Novell 3.1 to SQL7 on SBS4.5.

Thanks for any help (with points!!)

Richard:

Have you installed SQL7 SP3? What about NT4 SP6a?

FYI, here's some info re: NT4 SP7.

Good luck!
Make a great day!

I think it has something to do with the print configuration. You should check the printer driver settings on the SBS. On the W98 station, check if the latest printer driver is installed, if not give it a try.
If none of this works i would try to change permissions on the printer on the server for those users with w98. It could be a problem between 98 and NT.

Good luck, let me know ...
