Data Protection: Real men don’t eat quiche. They TweetChat—about Backup & Recovery…

StephenSpellicy ‎01-24-2014 01:32 PM - edited ‎02-19-2015 12:38 PM

Next week on January 28th at 11 AM PDT our customers, partners, and Twitter followers—heck, even competitors…the more the merrier—will have the pleasure of being part of an interactive TweetChat online to discuss backup and recovery.

During the #BackupChat, we will cover a number of topics related to enterprise data protection—from the typical issues many face as they backup amid today’s massive data growth, to how recovery challenges are being managed as we move to a new style of IT that is highly diverse, dynamic, and requires a much higher level of resiliency.

In fact, here at HP we see the challenge of data protection requiring an altogether different approach, something we call Adaptive Backup & Recovery, which leverages the power of operational analytics to prioritize, predict, recommend, and automate how successful backup and recovery is done.

Watch my Adaptive Backup & Recovery overview here:

We hope you will join our Backup and Recovery team along with our guest backup and recovery industry expert Curtis Preston hosting via @TruthInIT next week for this interactive online discussion on Twitter. You can use #BackupChat to follow along. Be sure to follow me, @spellicy, and my colleagues Gagan Bhatia, @gagan_bh, and Stephen Aldous, @sraldous, who will be taking the reins on @HPBackup for the chat!

We encourage you to take this opportunity to have your questions answered by our backup and recovery experts, and offer your opinion as it relates to backup and recovery challenges that you are seeing in your IT environment or within the IT industry!
