KM Value in ITIL/ITSM Project Management

As a Knowledge Management Project Manager for HP, I'm soliciting opinions about the value of knowledge content (creation and reuse) in project management. Anecdotal evidence as well as references to success stories is appreciated!

I'm preparing a white paper and would welcome a discussion here about the value of knowledge content to IT professionals such as those who read this forum.

So, for example, how frequently do you use/reuse content in your project management? A discussion is welcome! I hope for input by 1-March-2007 and will cite this forum as appropriate and anticipate the exchanges will beneficial for all!
