WW HP Server Software Marketing

Hopefully you had an opportunity to read our recent post addressing research that called out top SMB IT challenges.  Whether you’re just getting started or are in the process of expanding your business, we’re aware you have an increasingly expanding list of IT challenges. To help with those tasks I’m going to discuss an SMB server management solution that can help you address your HP ProLiant servers equipped with Windows operating system.

First let’s look at the environment you work in. Each day when you arrive at work you’re probably confronted with more responsibilities than just IT—after all you have a business to run. So how does IT make your job more complicated? Tell me if any of the following cases is something you experience or have dealt with in correlation with your top SMB challenges with regards to server management.

  •          IT Cost Challenge Case 1: Downtime is killing me! My server is down. I’m paying my employees but they can’t get anything down without the compute capability I’m losing out on employee’s wage as well as potential sales because I can’t access programs I need. How can I decrease downtime?

  •          IT Complexities Challenge Case 2: IT complexities, more specifically security. I accept credit cards and recently heard a business similar to mine had a security breach. Am I safe?

  •          IT Cost Challenge Case 3: Full impact of IT Investment. My IT admin needs a day off to take care of an emergency at her home. What if something goes wrong? I’ve spent so much money on a server don’t know what we’d do if we don’t have the ability to access and address the issue(s).

Sound like you? We feel your pain. Running a business is hard and you’re always on the lookout for solutions that make your day-to-day IT admin task easier. So tell me if any of the following solutions would help alleviate the agony?

IT Cost Challenge Case 1: Downtime is killing me!

My server is down. I’m paying my employees but they can’t get anything down without the compute capability I’m losing out on employee’s wage as well as potential sales because I can’t access programs I need. How can I decrease downtime?

HP iLO Essentials can provide you with immediate email alerts notifying you something has gone wrong and reduce unplanned downtime

IT Complexities Challenge Case 2: IT complexities, more specifically security.

I accept credit cards and recently heard a business similar to mine had a security breach. Am I safe?

HP iLO Essentials provides additional login credentials via SSL and security features with SSH. And if something should happen and you’re not in your office, you can securely login remotely and instantly shut down your server to avoid the spread of malware.

IT Cost Challenge Case 3: Full impact of IT Investment

My IT admin needs a day off to take care of an emergency at her home. What if something goes wrong? I’ve spent so much money on something we might not be able to use it if we don’t have the ability to access and address issues

Based on last week’s research, you’re most likely one of the 74% that utilize a smart phone or 84% that use laptops. If so, then your IT admin can login remotely to the iLO console or iLO Mobile App and manage the server(s) from home, park, or anywhere else, anytime.

If any of the above solutions interest you or want to learn more about SMB solutions, then I invite you to read our next blog, where I’ll go into additional features and benefits of iLO Essentials.

Have a few more minutes? Check out what iLO Essentials here  and better yet take if for a test drive and try it 60 days.

Till next time, when we’ll talk about a solution for your server management challenges….

PS: Don’t forget to turn your lights out before you leave today.
