P6230F wireless XP driver
I have an HP 6230F dual booting to Win XP and Windows 7, both 64 bit.
I can't get a driver to work properly with the Atheros wireless in XP , works great in Win7. The wireless card has what looks like an Atheros # of AR5BX92, P/N of 502299-001 Rev 1A.
I have downloaded the only "dual-band" driver from Atheros.cz, which installs and says its OK, but won't get an IP address from the router.
If I assign a static IP, it connects, but won't even allow me to visit my router's login.
Help!
