Comware 7 dot1x
Hi,
I'm recently working on an integration of a comware 7 sw with ClearPass of Aruba.
I was trying with some guides I found before and just got one problem, the server got an error about the mac address of the end user’s device. It is receiving in aaaa-aaaa-aaaa format but it is a format the radius doesn’t recognizes, it shoud be like: aa:aa:aa:aa:aa:aa.
Do you know if there is a way to change this?
Regards,
Ivan Vera

Re: Comware 7 dot1x
Howdy,
This command (from a working 5130ei) suggests there are options to explore regarding case and hypens versus colons:
mac-authentication user-name-format mac-address with-hyphen uppercase
maybe there are with-colon and a lowercase options?
Let us know what you find
HTH
Ian
