Is the disp qos queue-statistics command not supported on all platforms?

Hello,

 

I can perform this command on my 7500s, but cannot on a pair of 5800's.  The code on the 5800's is quite old, but from checking the command references for the updated code versions I cannot find the command.  Can anyone provide any info on this?

Hi,

 

This is supported as of the 1805 release (public release is now 1807P01).

Sample output on a 5800:

 

[switch]dis qos queue-statistics int g1/0/1

Interface: GigabitEthernet1/0/1

Direction: Outbound

 Quick, genuine question! I am curious why you do not run up-to-date code on your switches?

Well, normally I do not run the latest code on any device I manage unless there is a specific reason.  In this case, I started with my employer about 7 months ago and I am now finally getting around to updating this specific IRF stack.

There was a poorly-publicised fix recently published to a security flaw that affected nearly all Comware versions (i think it was in the SNMP implementation). It would be worth checking all your Comware devices to see whether there are recent security patches - that's definitely a good reason to update. :-)

Ya, that might be worth an upgrade huh! And to think, all I thought I was getting out of this update was the HP brand in my versioning and some visibility on my QoS stats!  ;-)
