Basic Wifi setup
I have tried to follow the HP setup guide and to be honest have found some of it a bit confusing.
I have setup an HP Unified 850 AC and configured it to allow Auto AP. on the remote site which is connected by an MPLS network I have setup a wireless VLAN 12 which has an IP helper configured. The dhcp server is configured with a scope for VLAN12 with the correewct options to allow the AP to automatically find out about the AC. This part works and I can provision the AP (AP is HP 560 ww).
I have created a basic SSID with no authentication required and deployed it to the AP. From a laptop I can see the SSID being advertised and can connect to it however I do not get an IP address on the wireless adapter of the laptop.
I have tried the AP in Local and remote mode but it makes no difference. any advice or pointers to a more comprehensive setup guide would be great

Re: Basic Wifi setup
Since VLAN 12 is your default VLAN for the AP, your SSID should point to VLAN 1 on a local breakout.
Can you confirm this is ok?
I've added an attachment :)
