WX5000 Connection with AP Reason No.
Hello,
We are having a problem with a site where the APs periodically disconnect from ACs (every 15 to 30 minutes) with the typically two of three logged "Reason No." The problem is nowhere are these "Reason No." documented that I can find. I am hoping when I decode these numbers it will help analyze what is happening on the network.
So to be brief, I'm trying to decode error numbers logged by WX5000 series Access Controllers and cannot find any documentation for the following log entries:
2012 2012-07-10 16:34:12 TRAC0002 %%10LWPS/6/LOG (l):-DevIP=10.69.48.39; Connection with AP [trap0005] goes down by reason of No.1966081 local7 info
2012 2012-07-10 16:34:02 TRAC0001 %%10LWPS/6/LOG (l):-DevIP=10.69.48.12; Connection with AP [trap0005] goes down by reason of No.2162689 local7 info
2012 2012-07-09 16:12:41 TRAC0002 %%10LWPS/6/LOG (l):-DevIP=10.69.48.39; Connection with AP [trap0007] goes down by reason of No.6 local7 info
Can somebody from HP, anybody really, point me to, send me, lead me to, toss me a clue where I might find these Reason No. may be documented. Barring that could somebody within HP please decode these numbers?
Kind regards,
Bill Gertz

Re: WX5000 Connection with AP Reason No.
Hi
What code are you running ?
What type of switch are the AP's plugged into ?
What type of AP's are you using ?
All that msg means is that the AP lost site of the AC . You can enable AP logging and see if you can track it down .
debug wlan lwapp ap all I believe is the command on the controller and see what comes out on a hyperterm ( Plug a cable in or telnet to it )
