Installing Dataprotector DPLNX00100.rpm on SLES10sp3 OES2sp3

[ Edited ]

Kind people of the intertubes,

1. ./omnisetup.sh -install da -> ok

2. rpm -Uhv DPLNX00100.rpm, result:

error: Failed dependencies:OB2-CORE-IS >= A.06.11-1 is needed by DA_Patch-A.06.11-1.x86_64

Seems familiar to anyone? How can i install this OB2-CORE-IS?

Regards,

Goestin

edit: The platform is x86_64 and the goal is to backup NSS volumes.

reply to myself for others:

You must have the installation server installed.

How?

1. Mount the linux cd.

2. ./omnisetup.sh -IS

3. rpm -ihv --replacefiles --replacepkgs DPLNX_00100.rpm

 edit: Still no nss volumes.....

ok, found the hplogin in the file: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1832067/SSPLNX611_009.shar

(md5sum: 1160ac00ef1acafb3cbcad900f368fa6  SSPLNX611_009.shar)

usage:

1. chmod +x SSPLNX611_009.shar

2. ./SSPLNX611_009.shar

3. cd /

4. tar -Pxvf /temp/SSPLNX611_009/SSPLNX611_009_x64.tar

but then ./hplogin sez:

liboes_des_64bit.so => not found
