Auto Logoff
I set the autologoff by setting "export TMOUT=60" in .profile file.If the user
is login into the Unix then to Oracle Application,the autologoff is not
working.Even after a minute without any interaction with shell the user is
still in the system.When I do "finger -i | grep username " ,I can see the user
is
idle passed the TMOUT time.(In this case 60 second).
Any idea how to solve this problem.

Setting TMOUT only affects the shell itself. Other applications, like Oracle,
are free to examine TMOUT and also respect it, but few applications do.
