Re: Error Installing Oracle

Is this a question or statement?

I think it is not a question ...

You have 11.31, but you need to have 11.23.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Error Installing Oracle

Hi :

It appears that this is a continue of your thread here:

http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/postanswer.do?forumId=1&closedFlag=0&threadid=1272931

It is far better to not open multiple threads about the same issue. Better means better for you as well as the community --- today and tomorrow when someone trolls through these threads.

That said, the Oracle Installer *must* be run in an X-Window environment. If you need a *free* X-Window server for a Windows environment, I like 'Xming; :

Re: Error Installing Oracle

It's pretty easy - run for example xming on your pc, then use putty to connect to the server:

> putty -X

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
