Progess Database keeps shutting down
A few days ago a K580 running HPUX 11.0, a Progress database, odbc, java, etc... panicked due to a CPU. The CPU was replaced, and subsequent to that we've had 2 instances where Progress came down, and Java keeps crashing (signal 11 was the only information I got from the apps folks). Naturally, I have to eliminate the CPU as the cause of the problem before anyone on the app side picks up the phone for some app tech support. The only other tidbit of info I have (from doing my own research through their logs) was a message (from odbc perhaps) prior to the database shutting down:
SRV - SYSTEM ERROR: Can't find table lock for table number 33x
I don't expect to anyone to know the cause, but if some "expert" can support me in stating that it can't be the replaced CPU, that would be appreciated.

Re: Progess Database keeps shutting down
Probably too late to help you, but this is a known bug in Progress 9.1C. See Progress kbase P7399.
