Can you moved disks around in an MSA2012 if shutdown?

Given a need to consolidate down from, say, 4 enclosures to 2 enclosures (after initially removing half of the disks to make space of course) can someone confirm that you can safely move disks around in an MSA enclosure and it'll pick them up just fine in their new locations?

All done with the servers/storage offline of course.

I am not sure whether it supports disk roaming profile or not but you may check in the release notes of the firmware or in manual of this MSA.

Another way of checking it by creating a test vdisk->volume and then move the disk but this is only possible if you have free disks and slots available.

I was hoping someone else had tried before but if not I guess I'll have to cobble together a test-rig & report back myself...
