Hoping you good people on the forum can confirm whether Continuous Access/EVA replication will work over iSCSI? If a model matters, I'm thinking EVA4400 to EVA4000.
Thanks in advance,
Jason

Re: EVA replication over iSCSI?
We have mpx200 routes which supports both iscsi and FCIP functionality...

Re: EVA replication over iSCSI?
as posted above, CA requires FC SAN for replication. Eva could be used as iSCSI storage, but no replication available.
From HP portfolio you can use newest LeftHand devices - (P4000 G2) with iScsi replication...

Re: EVA replication over iSCSI?
Thank you all for your excellent responses. You've answered my main question and also given me a suitable solution in the MPX200 (thanks Sivaramakrishna).
Cheers!

Re: EVA replication over iSCSI?
CA/EVA replicates only over FC (not iSCSI) but FC fabrics can be extended with the MPX200 which also provides iSCSI connectivity as well as other benefits.
