Installing USB printer with VMWare ESX 4.1

We are setting up our VMWare environment in which to test network and USB connected printers. We were able to connect a USB printer in our "trial" run using another organization's VMWare ESX 4.0. Now that we have our own server, we are unable to get VMWare ESX 4.1 to see our USB Printers. We are referring to this article (link below), but are unable to get past Figure 3. Perhaps there is something missing in the VMWare installation that we need? We have USB over ISP devices, but they don't work with our driver installs. In our trial run, we were able to plug the USB printer directly into the client PC and it was recognized, so that is our preference. We were able to install the print drivers without a problem.
