Not much love out there. A good few 'solved' but no kudo's.

Hi folks, (Dennis, Steven,.. :-)

I haven't been visiting much, and moslty on OpenVMS.

Just re-visited HPUX a few times again and noticed that 'they' get only 50 or so views per topic.

That seems low. Topics in the OpenVMS  family get about 100 views, eyeballing the numbers.

That was the other way around in the good old ITRC days wasn't it?

I also noticed that there was not a single 'kudo' in the first 100 posts in each family.

The old 'points' where kinda silly, but some recognition is admittedly nice.

I do see about 1 in 4 posts marked as 'solved'. Sweet. That's good recognition.

No I see those are also counted in the 'statistics' section of the profile, but that is NOT the lead 'challenge' subtle motivator or whatever you might call the function of the points/kudos.

Maybe each reply marked 'solved' should automatically be counted as a kudo.

Is 'solved' not the biggest kudo out there?

Cheers,

Hein

Yes, that's been mentioned before.

Except you don't give kudos to the author and they can solve their topic.
