losing HTML option on "Replies", but have it for new topics

Whenever I post a new topic, I have the HTML icons / options:

However, whenever I "Reply" to a post, any post, on any board... I no longer have the html icons, and my replies all run together.  I cant insert html code in there.  It basically reads it as "plain text".

The only thing I notice different is the javascript error message:

Webpage error details

I'm using IE8... but I also tried in firefox and chrome, and same thing.  I can post new topics in HTML, but any "Reply", it starts messing up.  I haven't changed any settings or anything.

Help!! :)

Thanks,

Jeff

I assume you aren't using quick reply?  I don't have any problems replying.

Reply / Quick Reply ... both dont work . I'm "Replying" to your message now and dont see the little icon bar. not to mention... even if i hit enter a few times, it completely ignores it. This post will run together in one paragraph even though every sentence was on a different line. Very weird because I've tried on a different browser, same result. ~Jeff
