Can't bring HP R5500 out of standby mode.

i have two R5500 that have been powered off for about a month.  One the utility light is flashing green.  The other is flashing red.  Both of them the 'on' and 'standby' button do nothing for.  And both of them i can enter the configure mode, but am unable to modify the settings.

These both worked fine before being powered off.

any ideas?
