Convert Unix text to pdf

I want to be able to convert some reports that are run on a Unix box to pdf format so that they can be viewed by me users. Is there a simple way to accomplish this?

Re: Convert Unix text to pdf

One of the best products that I have used for many years is Unform. http://www.unform.com/

It's not free but it is very powerful; it's easy to integrate into the lp subsystem. Because it contains an embedded programming language, it can recognize different text input documents (e.g. "My Report" at col 43, line 1, MM/DD/YYYY at col 73, line 3) and then apply an appropriate set of rules to format the output. In addition to PDF, it can also output amazing PCL formats including graphics, duplexing, color, barcode, ... .
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

I have a printer driver on my PC that converts windows print jobs to PDF.. Just FTP it to your PC and use a pdf converter there.

a2ps and ghostscript can do it.

a2ps -o - file.txt | ps2pdf - file.pdf
