DVD with rockridge?

Hi all,

I have a 11.00 system and installed rockridge extension patches. This is great for CDs.
Now my question:
is something similar possible for DVDs?
I will have DVDs larger than 2GB.
What do I have to care about when mounting a DVD?

Thanks in advance for all your help!

It's not the total size of the DVD that matters, but the size of a single file. The 2GB limit is per file. If a file is over 2GB then large file support is required in the mount statement.

We have DVDs on our systems and we mount them just like a standard cdrom drive. No problems.
