Re: Firestone and HP-UX 11i
What is "firestone" ?? Is it a tire brand?
There's no reference to it at gnu.org, do you have any documentation on it?
btw, FRESH install 11i (11.11), do not attempt an upgrade.

Re: Firestone and HP-UX 11i
Just try porting or rebuilding it on hpux 11.11, see if it works.
Of course, being that it was last updated in 1995, I'd think that there are more viable security products.

SolutionI have actually heard of an app named Firestone, but it was a while back.
You really need to check back with your application vender. If its not certified with HP-UX 11.11 it might be with 11.00.
Either way, go for a cold install, even if you have to "borrow" hardware on a temporary basis. The upgrade is quite nettlesome. It failes a high percentage of the time.

Re: Firestone and HP-UX 11i
You could look at the CESG site (www.cesg.gov.uk). Also, you could try getting in touch with Chris Simpson (contact details on the 11i certified products details).
