Go back in time from 2000

Currently we are running Y2K tests on a system (all seems well so far, thanks
:-)
But I was thinking about what the ?best? way would be to go back to ?today?
again when we?re finished. Is just resetting the date and rebooting enough or
are there things to worry about?
For example: I get predictive messages now, telling me to transfer the files
(which I don?t do).
