HP CD-RW PCMCIA Card

HP CD-RW PCMCIA Card

I am looking for a Linux driver for the HP CD-RW
PCMCIA card that comes with the M820e CD R/W. I have been to the Linux support
web sites and found no specific information. Does anybody know which drivers
will make this device functional?

The PCMCIA adapter uses an unsupported chip-set from KME (Kyushu Matsushita
Electronics) / Panasonic. This card is currently not supported under Linux.

The CD-RW drive itself uses a standard SCSI-2 interface and should work with
any supported SCSI controller.
