HP Pavillion 6553 Video : X Installation

I'm doing a standard Workstation install of RedHat 6.1. The video (Intel 810?)
on this Pavillion does not seem to be either listed or generic. I'm getting
320x240 displays only.

Any hints?

The HP Pavillion for Linux site would be welcome _now_ rather than in 1-2
months :-)

You need Xfree Version 3.3.6 or Greater.

The solution I found (rather than upgrading the whole XFree86, can be found at
Intels site :

http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/intel810/linuxsoftware.htm

This contains a couple of RPMs and good instructions on how to do the upgrade.

These both fit on a floppy, for those that need X before they can start doing
battle with the network card :-)
