Please help....How do i install new fonts on printers configured on hp-ux which is a print server to my clients.....

Solution
There is no concept of installed fonts for HP-UX. The only thing HP-UX can do (with lp options) is to format a simple ASCII file. AS a print server, HP-UX does nothing but forward the print job to the printer. It is the responsibility of the application to either download the fonts as a part of the print job or to use a PC utility to accomplish this task.

Hi Rath,
There is no way to install additional PCL fonts. The only thing you can do is to select from a list of builtin Model/Interface
options. Generally the available PCL optons must be sufficents for satisfying your demands. Still if there is some specific requirement than let us know your printer model and the problem observed with existing fonts.
