IM for HPUX

I am looking to find a way to get Yahoo instant messenger service working with my HPUX systems. Would anyone know how to do this?

The only thing I know of that MIGHT work is GAIM.

It is GTK based, which means you need to be running something like Gnome or CDE on your HP-UX machine.

This appears that it would work, however in order for it to run it needs glib 2.0. Which I downloaded and that needs pkg-config install. When I downloaded that and ran 'make' to compile the package I get numerous errors (mostly Unexpected Symbol errors)that I can not figure out how to correct.

Thank you for your assistance on this, but where this is not a business critical necessity I am going to need to stop working on it.
