IRS Server tuning or cleanup?

Hi,

Our IRS instalation is dog slow ... I understand from talking to HP that this is a feature of the product!

My question is has anyone managed to optimise the application at all?

I assume that the engineering team developing IRS don't have access to 100's of servers to test their code so there is not much that can be done but it might be possible to tune the Java VMs and Postgress DBs. Has anyone looked inside the dirty black box?

Is there some real community where this product is being discussed? I was hoping for a wiki page or something where troubleshooting tips could be shared ....

I would have hoped they said "limitation", not feature.  ;-)

Re: IRS Server tuning or cleanup?

I find the same. The PostGREs DB kills my CPU on a beefy server. Logs on IRS don't seem to reveal much. I'm not too enthused with the product as it stands. Nice idea's but so many implementation/performance/useability issues in my opinion.

If my post was helpful please award me Kudos! or Points :)
