KVM Console USB Adapter issues
We have an old HP TFT7600 KVM , it's not G2. The Product Number is AG053A. All specs and manual state it provides both PS/2 and USB connectivity, however we can't seem to get USB adapters to work with it. The adapters are AF628A, and don't get recognised by the KVM. Diagnistics shows fault, however they work fine in a G2 KVM. Old style PS/2 adapters work fine.
I've already updated firmware to latest available from HP.
Are there any KVM/adapter compatibility charts, or any info on what adapter/dongle to get for this KVm to allow for USB connections to servers?

Re: KVM Console USB Adapter issues
Hi,
If a working USB cable does not work in the TFT’s USB port, then the port is defective and the TFT needs to be serviced/replaced.

What KVM do you have? the AG053A is the keyboard/ monitor part number. That unit plugs into a KVM. The AF628A USB Interface attaches to an HP(E) IP Console switch via a CAT5 cable.

Re: KVM Console USB Adapter issues
The KVM itself has rather poor labelling, after googling all info on it, this appears to be HP IP Server KVM Switch 408965-001
