Oracle RAC- Raw device mismatch on cluster.

A new LUN was presented to RAC cluster nodes running on HPUX 11iv3. 

As a pre-request, it was mentioned to have identical raw disk names on both nodes. However, persistent DSF is unable to match on both the nodes,...but i can see the legcay dsf;s are matching. Since the existig ASM devices are configured with persistent device names, ASM is not ready to change the path to legecy.

All i need is..to know how to match the persistent names between cluster nodes.

*On storage verified the host LUN ID's and they are identical. So nothing is wrong from stroge.
