R3000XR - recharge date has passed
We purchased a UPS3000VA just over a year ago and we have not needed to use it until now, just unpacked it and the manual says ‘do not use the battery if the recharge date has passed’, the recharge date is Aug 06. What is the signifance of this date? what could happen? what should I do?

Re: R3000XR - recharge date has passed
that's because it concerns whether the battery can hold new charge. Plug in and recharge it for 4 days. Put a load on and unplug the utility line to see if it's OK to power the load for 2 minutes (no bad LED on?).
