Spooling from hpux 11.00 to Windows 2000

Hi

How should I configure my queue in SAM to be able to print to a Windows 2000 server?
And how should the Windows 2000 be configured?
The application on the hpux will deliver the jobs formatted for the printer.
We've trie to create a normal remote queue on the hpux which spools to the name given the Windows-queue which was configured as lpd queue. But the jobs hang on the hpux and lpstat says "waiting for queue to be enabled on ps01"
Thanks for your time.

Hi Tonny:

Using SAM, establish a 'remote' printer and run an LPD/LPR setup on the NT system. See this link for more information on the NT side's configuration:

Re: Spooling from hpux 11.00 to Windows 2000

Hi
My collegue installed "Printing Services for Unix" and that did the trick.
At least if he uninstall it, the queue stops working so that has to be installed on Windows 2000 to receive printrequests from a HP-UX box.
Thanks for your comments.
