UAT for 2x [HP PCI-X 2.0 2Port 4Gb Fibre Channel HBA]

Hi

I'm trying to do a UAT on the card said above. This 2x card is attached to my rx6600.

All 4 ports are connected from rx6600 to my SAN switch and my EVA are connected to my SAN switch too.

I have 10 vdisk presented to my rx6600 HP-UX 11.31.

How do I perform a UAT on this 2x fiber card to test it is working and the availability of my vdisk?

Hello,

what kind of UAT do you want to do ? Simply present some vdisks to both HBAs. Make the disks available to the operating system using ioscan and insf. You can also create volume groups, logical volumes and filesystems from the vdisks to ensure complete functionality.

Use agile device special files in order to achieve multipathing and load balancing.
