What is "Please enter your username and password for the following server"??

I get this when I attempt to share a file or folder.  I get stumped because I don't know what it's asking me - so I eventually forget my task and find another way to get it done.  #FRUSTRATION

What Windows version are you using?  What browser version?

If this isn't private, what is the name of the server?

 

What HP products are involved?
